Here finally the website waited so long! Ski and snowboard instructor can finally sign up on the directory which will be seen by thousand of people. Their services will be promoted all around the world. Student will finally have a contact in the mountain before to have been there.They will be able to ask the information they need about the mountain, the snow condition. I don't have too much time to write now cause I have to let know my colleague the great new!.
Finally I can do and apply all I have learn in the last few week. Let see if that work. Booking ski lessons will never be the same, no more surprise.

Preparation
And yes again , another day waiting for the website. The good new is the same , it will be ready soon!!! We talk a bout a specific day now, which is start to clearer let"s take it as a good new. Unfortunely I have almost nobody for my opening. I had people who was interested but I when I wrote back to them for the subscription I get no answer back. They all told me that they will sign in, anyway I will find other peoples it exist over 140 000 of ski and snowboard instructor hope get few of them to start. So if you know one let me know! Tomorrow suppose to be the big day. So we will see.

Why my idea are alway out of ordinary
Since I'm young , i have alway crazy and unusual idea. People do it one way, I will find another way better or not it was my way with my touch. I wrote so many business plan who can work but they never gone farther than by computer and in a talk between 2 beers with my friends. I don't know why at that time I didn't want to be involve in any long term commitment. All my desire was to travel , go to New Zealand, go to ski in British Columbia, discover the world, improve my english and that's all. Yes Iwas interested by money, more by work than money I will say.
Now after have done my 10 years of aventure like a planned and find the woman of my life, of course my wife. I feel like I need a new challenge , a new reason to go for it, to dive or to grow up. It was easy to travel around the world. Now I want to get wealthy and have enough income that I can travel in vacation, buy a house, not worry about tomorrow payment ... Here I am broken but rich in ressource.
If you think that I have a easy life, I will say that you interprete easy as you whish, cause I tell you that any people won't to trade for my shoe today.... but tomorrow my shoe will take more value and in 1 year or 2 people will ask me where did I got my shoes.
So i check what I have done before and never gave up. My first trip from home was to go to france to do a stage for few dollars a month and the fliht ticket , food and place to stay. I had to work 6 days a week , from 9am to midnight. Do you know Club med, it was pretty much similar with less budget and a smaller team. From there I decided after my season to go to learn english in Banff (alberta). I arrive there with less than 800$ and I will tell you that it's pretty hard to find a place to live there for cheap. I finally found a room non furnish, it was no kitchen only a bathroom share with 7 other peoples. So from cleaning dishes, to toilet, to shower that was the same place for all of us. I was paying 300$ a month, so I share my room and have to pay finally 150$. Because my english and experience was pretty bad, I have been 1 month with out to work, showing up everyday without to be pay. Eating raw sausage because it was the cheapest thing I can find for finally coming back at the end of the season with enough money on the side to go to my next destination and go after a little while 5 times a week to the restaurant, have slept a the Chateau Lake Louise which is over my budget . So finally I did not too bad. But I worked hard, every morning I was doing the task that nobody was interested too, putting the fences and the board in the departure area and beginner area. Sure than when is minus 30 degre and you hav to take of your glove to fix a drill for 8$/hour you have to be really motivate.
I arrived in New Zealand with 300$ with my girfriend. She though I was crazy at that time. But we finally end renting a house that we share with peoples and get out of the story with a little money. Sleeping in the car, working in a fruit packing house, finding new place to stay. Nothing was really easy. When I look back, I think making money should not be that hard. You bet. We will see. But I alays said that you can find money every where around us. If you think that the money is only for people who have money. I don't think its true. If you meet somebody who have money and you know a good idea to use is money to make it bigger. Do you think that this person will be happy to know and give a part of the profit. And if you do that for 2 persons you will twice more money. And with the money you will make you will be finally able to make it grow and get 100% of these profit. Think about it. What people who work hard and hav money don't have that you do..... TIME.... and time is monayable.
A Doctor who win thousand and thousand of dollar will not have the time to take the research to invest all is money, he will never have time for himself. What is the point to have money if you don't have time. You sale them time, you find a way to make their money grow up, they win, you got a profit, you win. And is the base of pretty much every 0$ to millions story.

I didn't do a cent yet and I spend all I have playing on credit now. Did I gave the effort at the right place, maybe not. But on the long run I will not giving up and I will get what I want.

Its hard time !
Again and again the same story! Next week , next next week! Where are the real programmer. I think some people cal themselves pro of website design and programmation but when they have to do something out of the template they transform a 6 weeks job in more than 6 months. unfortunaly I'm not the one who gave the contract and his not my money but I can tell you that I will not regive any contract to this australian company who should maybe limited their website design to copy paste and template already done that you can find everywhere at diffrent price. How can you believe on a team who transform a 6 week project in a 6month and we still in the none finish but soon!!!! what A JoKE!
So here I am on the hard process to become wealthy, first problem depend of other who are not reliable. Make a reliable team , it's the number one rule!!!! If you have a team who don't respect time frame they will just be PAIN in the butt at short or long term.
So now I will conecntrate more my idea and time on the real estate , at least it depend more of my efforts.
Hard start make the result more enjoyable. I pretend. But for the moment the bank account going down and the result don't show up yet.
I concentrate myself and try to analyzse what I can do to improve my situation.

almost there
Waiting for my blog I decide to learn some other way to make more income. I study and practice in real estate investment. The market where I'am is pretty special. Whistler will host the Olympic in 2010 and the real estate market is pretty hard to predict. But I learn that every house is a goos deal if it's at the right price.
So I play with number all day long and even when I sleep. I try to figure out how I will do my first deal. Every time a little victory bring me forward. The only thing who come in my mind when I'm thinking to put it on the side because to hard ..because this and that... so I take my positive spirit and say to myself the only reason I fail will be because I gave up. So I'm thinking about what piece of the puzzle I'm missing and find it. It's always little victory which make me smile and happy. When I find it hard and hear in my webinar that it's easy I just think about skiing. It's all the same , on anything , if don't practice and just read and read you will never end. Often we wait to know everything before to do something and we spend to much energy get no result. Doing it in the same time you learn is the best way to improve. You find yourself front of a wall and you need to figure where the others pass to get in the other side. And this is pretty much what mean this story. My life.

Patience
Waiting for my website I try toearn something different. Th e new course online I have is pretty interesting. Expensive but I count it like an investment in myself. I develop some passion for real estate, it's challenging, interesting and you meet people who are ready to help you. I'm impress for the moment from I'm learning. It can be realy good alternative to invest on. Even broken I try to figure out how can I do to buy a house. Living in a expensive place like Whistler is not easy.
I'm ready to rock with my website, I have learn so many things, I though I knew a lot about SEO. If you want an advise, It's when you think that you know everything about a subject and you stop trying to learn more that you pass from top to second place. If you don't discover, meet a new person, make a new contact or other ressource to improve you loose. Go for it,Never give up!

The phone call
Receiving message in link with the book I just buy (spam or not ) I don't know I read one or two. Curious I check around on internet to find out who is that guy. Ok ! Another millionnaire! cool for him! He get a new challenge, cool for him too!
In the same days I receive a phone call to see if I can be elected to be part of his new challneges to raise a lot of money for an organisme and in the same time take a number of peoples and together have over 2billions$ of revenue. Why not? So I get few interview 3 or 4 on the phone. I'm broken at that moment . I just took a loan to pay out all my credit card, I don't work, I have no revenu and I have 800$ in one of my account. I have just enought to survive until my ski season start.
During my last interview, they ask me how much I can reach on my credit. I told them few thousands dollars thinking that this money will be invest directly on my business. They probably want to know how much I'm ready to put on myself.
Last interview I'm selected ! Ouar! Is everybody is accepted , I'm thinking. The last person with who I talk is the kind of manager and he told me that this week he selected only 3 persons and in the conversation he slide me a bill of approximate 5000$.
I'm happy on one side cause I will have somebody to guide me with my website to succes hopefully. In the other hand maybe I have been trapped like a mouse with cheese.
I start the program , thinking positive, If I'm not all on I will not enjoy 100% of it, I will member for one year and have a mentor and other online course during all that time. All I have to do to reach my goal is to listen to them do the exercice and reseacrh to develop my website. I'm already few steps ahead, I have my idea is started to develop and now I just to wait few more days before to get my website. We will see if that 5000$ will be effective or not , but so far he open many doors to ideas.
I'm excited to start. But I can't loose, I have no choice so don't look back look forward. Never give up you will never fail it is what one of the book teach me.

Mid october
I just started to read a series of different book from a guy call Robert G.Allen. I was thinking keeping all my money for my website and I find myself spending money in book. So I have to wait anyway for my website better read and check if that can help me. One book is ''the road to wealth'' nice I start to read it at night. It is about real estate , I'm doing a website how that can help me was my first though. Nothing to loose anyway, I have it in trial if I don't like I have few days to cancel, it is on their refund politic. I don't know if the politic refund work cause I finally kept the book and read it. More I read it , more I found other opportunity around me and for my website. that open my mind on some idea.
Make me think that I did some part of the book without to know and in a long was, If I had already know before I will be online since a while, just too bad I'm almost there but still open opportunity for the future ideas cause you can develop more than one idea. Not putting all the eggs in the same bucket !!!

Every week the website supposed to be online .I can't wait I have enough ressource on internet to mak it explode but I need this website to make everything happen. So hard to wait , it is like have been train to run and ready to take the the track to run and win but you don't have your running shoes. The race can't start before you get your shoes and if it take too long maybe it will be to late cause the race will start wihtout you. Patience is a vertue, but patience can bring you down too sometime.

South hemisphere and summer
Days after days , E-mail after mail, everything was going faster and taking a better look. Paul start with an amount of money in echage with 50% and more the project go more he add money on. Unfortunely, we was late on our plan, the website didn't came out for july , not even a chance. But that was not a big deal, on my side I was less stress than the first part of my project. I knew I will have my product soon or later. So at that time I was more concentrate on my wedding which was in August. I finally had a view of our future website working on at the end of the summer. Still have some adjustment and paper work to do, but yes is alive. I think that I felt like a saw my future baby in his mother belly, not ready but you know his coming soon. a kind of fire inside you who gave a lot of energy and happiness.
Manu
Manu the designer for the website at the beginning was my motivater in many situaton. Specialy I remember have called him right the way after I met Mr.Burn who offer me his lawer and to be out of job. Manu was pretty busy, work and a baby with my sister. He took the time to listen to me and bring new alternative for the website. The new partner was welcome to the business and the words '' new breath to the site'' was from Manu.
The new partner Paul plan many change on our website, the url, the structure, the design... We was going to do a new website and be ready for the south hemisphere 2008 (july- september). Paul was extra motivate and spneding a lot of hour on the new website ( he still do, Thanks Paul).
The rythm of Paul and Manu was not the same, Paul take quickly the initition to skip Manu to go faster to the point. I was again frustrated, I though , I lost the control of my website. Argumenting with Paul for few days we finally came to a point. What a start! We both put water on our wine and build the website.
I love Manu work and after this one I will redo something with him without any hesitation.

The idea-saver
Thinking, about the future of my idea I was woory. trying to keep it for me not telling my colleagues about their situation now. I can't , they all scared from goliath. I'm not. I face it and I still stand up. I didn't want to bring my problem to my guest either. I'm there to be sure they have fun not hear me complain about my problem. Few time after a leson when I was out of duty and drinking a beer with my guest I was talking about the idea of mywebsite without to give any url adress. I told them that I prefer my prouct finish and show them once done. They can't wait to know more.
One day, in a conversation about life and future my guest ask me what was my plan in the future. The cat came out from the bag , I explain to him my plan about my website, he have been so good on his question that he even get the website adress.
All day during the group lesson, when he had a moment he asked me question about my idea.
The morning after, when we was going to take the chairlift together he asked me :
''doing want a partner?'' of course talking about the business . Smiling I said yes and kept concentrate to my lesson. I didn't realize that I just get the light on my torch. My idea was taking a new breath.

Imagine I was my feeling at that time. But at that moment a learn another lesson, I didn't knock at the right door. This director his not my potential clients, his only one of these dictator who don't want his staff enjoy possibility to increase their income, don't want to share the succes of the compagny with his employees, don't show matter about new idea to increase guests service in his business cause guests give him money anyway why share when the business can keep more at the depend of his guest and employees. Frustration was my feeling. I wish I had a tape, a camera and have a copy of the speach he gave to me that day and show it to all employee.
After though, I was David front of goliath, and I have to play it smart if I want to be the winner at the end. I prefer have a good relation with my superior and have to understand their point. He was afraid that was clear, I had touch a weak point.

nothing easy in many way
More than be wash out of money. I asked my director if he minded about having my own profile on my website. Motivate to have his support to help my colleague, his employees , I finally have been black email. He told me that if anybody from the mountain is on my website he will fired me and send me his lawers. The explanation he gaves me for his disagreement was:

The way the instructor spend their money is first not of his business.

I tried to understand his logic. The instructor will sale a 600$/day lesson to have an extra approximatly of 30$, if the instructor don't work on that day he get a minimum salary which will be around the same amount. Don't take a master in accounting to know which one is better for the business.

Others advantage he didn't see is the fact that the supervisor will not have too worry about this instructor and the guest connection... it'salready done, less intermeiate and a better guest service.

After found freelancer and money spend I finally end with a simily website. Almost what I want. We will say the skelet without the meat. My came out with great success, many peoples (800 in the same day) came to visit my website, I had few instructor who sign up but the programmation behind the website was not perfect and everytime I tried to fix something I was loosing a profile or information. I was washed out of money and had no more ressource from my side to upgrade my product. So I took a step beside and try to look the picture from far.

Few week before the launching day, I was ready to reach my contact and I had a pub and e-blast with one of the biggest magazine in north america. The magazine will be out 3 weeks after the website is launched that was perfect just enough time to put people on and promote them.
Bad new the programmer after trying few tiem have been unable to make the website, we have nothing not even a page of programmation. He had finish something but erase and restarted to finish with nothing. Imagine my feeeling, I just spend almost all my saving to promote something that I don't have. I learn my lesson number one. Don't sale what you don't have yet! I return myself and try to delay the first part of my pub. I have now 6 weeks to put my website on feet.

asking for a price for my idea
Many weeks of business plan development, website architecture, etc. I arrived to a website business in vancouver which ask me 20 000$ to make my website. I had just find a new job this week, am I going to put all my extra from my income in the idea I believe. Every day at that time was running in my head. I talked with a friend which is in the same time my brother in law. He offer me to make the graphic for me, but on the other side the company was not interested to have anybody from outside their business... so after another discussion with an higher director from the company the price was range at 50 000$. It is no way I can get this I though had that time. So my friend Manu had some colleague who can help us to develop the project. The design was great, after many discussion at long distance via internet we develop the idea. The programmation was behind. That was in july and we was expecting the website for october. My job was to guide the website and plan the marketing. All the money that I have to invest will be in marketing and business set up.
This the past already of my story, but it is part of the present goal. Mid-June I'm sitting on my coach in my new ensuite that I rent with my girlfriend. It's another day that my boss call me to say that he don't have any work for me today. I decide to put myself at something, surfing around the internet, I try to find a way to make money to survive. I read , I check offer to be reach in an among of time. These thing don't look like what I want. I'm not really good on telemarketing or data base typing . I'm a 2fingers and half typer by the way. I read something which said something like this '' imagine you have to make 1000$ in one day to survive or what so any other reason or you go in jail.'' just something to motivate you. ''what do you will do if you have internet only to help you''. For which reason I started to make a brainstorming about all I like and what kind of website I should develop. Few months before I build a website from template and already thing set up, for my students guest, pictures and to keep in touch. In the same time I try to bring new students on my list. The search engine will never find my website, so bad , so much energy. But at least I had few of my student who was passing by sometime. That inspire me, if we are many ski and snowboard instructors we will be able to reach more people together and not pass anymore incognito. How I can do something to help myself and help my colleagues who have probablya similar problem. So I developped my idea around this.
Never give up
Here is my story, how I will become rich. Sound funny cause my banks account and credit cards write totally the opposite. But from june 2007 I developed an idea that I never gave up since. I will prove that is possible and anybody with volunty can do it. Why I write that now even if I didnt prove it. It is maybe easier to right a story after you have reach your goal, everybody know how it end but this story nobody can tell even me who write it and live it. So it's now! happening! and later when I will reach my present goal and will be abe to say.... this is how I got it.
From young I had always incredible dream and goal. Everybody do but more we growing up more the goal are hard to reach and some of realize that the goal is maybe to hard. To get their goal they jus low down their expectation. Not me. I have been deceive few time at short term but on long run I have alway reach them. If you really want something you can get it. Focus.
One of my first goal when I was at the college was to go to the west of Canada to teach ski and learn english. I was pretty bad in english (I still but I'm much better, imagine before). After sending 100 of resume in all mountain in alberta and British-Columbia via e-mail which was new for me at that time... 1998... I finally receive an offer at Sunshine Village in Banff. I arrive there with 800$, just enough to pay my rent and my deposit. I had a little over to buy some food. My room was empty, no commune kitchen , just a commune bathroom for 4 rooms and I ate raw sausage that I store on the drawer. Anyway I finally finish from there with a nomination as the employee of the month, a great friend who was my roomate for the winter and enough money to eat at the restaurant pretty much every nite, and come back with the best feeling of accomplishment. I was ready for another adventure.
I will not describe all my goals that I had reach, it is going to be long. No I'm writing about this one I have started and still on the process. There the story start.
