nothing easy in many way

More than be wash out of money. I asked my director if he minded about having my own profile on my website. Motivate to have his support to help my colleague, his employees , I finally have been black email. He told me that if anybody from the mountain is on my website he will fired me and send me his lawers. The explanation he gaves me for his disagreement was:
- instructor will cost him more to have sale lesson....
drawing a circle on his board devide in part and agressivly saying that I'm stealing money from him cause the money that the instructor will make will be used to pay their subscription.
The way the instructor spend their money is first not of his business.

In the other side, if an instructor don't work, he don't bring money to the business. The ski school promote good wage, extra and benefit but they don't want you to have them. I tried to understand his logic. The instructor will sale a 600$/day lesson to have an extra approximatly of 30$, if the instructor don't work on that day he get a minimum salary which will be around the same amount. Don't take a master in accounting to know which one is better for the business.

The business don't have to invest a cent to be promoted and in case of success they have to gave an extra of 5% to the instructor who spend money on their resort every days.
Others advantage he didn't see is the fact that the supervisor will not have too worry about this instructor and the guest connection... it'salready done, less intermeiate and a better guest service.

I learn another lesson there, I though I was prepare to show my idea. I should bring it another way. Not bring the idea as I using my position to promote my website but the reality who was that I was helping the business on their guest service, unload the supervisor tasks, showing their interest toward their staff which is the nervous central of their company.

at that moment I felt like Gerry Maguire after he wrote his book and get fired. at least as stayed with my job with a bad taste in my mouth. I love my job, the mountain and the people with who I ski and it was the only reasons to keep working for this business.
